FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between Huddle and our existing video solution?
Huddle is meant to work together with your current video solution, not replace
it. Huddle provides you with the ability to leverage your current work in video,
playbook, scouting, and evaluation systems, combining everything into one
portable system that is accessible from anywhere in the world at any time.
I am worried about the idea of having my playbook available electronically –
how secure is Huddle?
Huddle employs three tiers of security that are modeled to match the levels used
in the financial services industry. Even if someone attempts to access the data
maliciously, either on the computer or over the wire, it is fully encrypted.
Additionally, every action performed in Huddle is logged and can be reviewed at
any time. Furthermore, if a Huddle account is compromised, it can be remotely
deactivated, destroying all of the associated data. These security measures
combine to make Huddle more secure than your current paper playbook.
What happens if a player loses his laptop or leaves the team?
If a player loses his laptop, leaves the team, or if their account is
compromised, you can remotely deactivate their account, destroying all content
on their system and removing their ability to access data in Huddle.
How will Huddle integrate with my existing video solution?
Agile Sports understands that the existing video solutions on the market perform
their tasks well and Huddle is not meant to replace these systems. We have
designed the system so it should be easy to connect seamlessly with your
existing solution. When working with you, one of the first steps we will take is
to assess your current setup to understand how to integrate Huddle so that it is
easy-to-use and in no way affects your existing systems or processes.
I am overworked to begin with – how much added time does it take to use
Huddle?
Huddle was created while working hand-in-hand with coaches, players, video
coordinators and other team staff, allowing us to assimilate Huddle into their
everyday routines and find ways to enhance their communication and increase
their learning and preparation. Huddle will shorten the time to complete key
tasks and maximize the value of your time by enhancing your content allowing
interactivity, an integrated communication structure, and portability among your
entire team without uprooting your current infrastructure.
How much does Huddle cost per user?
When you purchase Huddle, you are purchasing a site license for your entire
team. There is no per user charge for using Huddle.
What about the hardware – what kind of machines are needed to run Huddle?
Huddle will run directly on most computers that have been purchased within the
past three years. Tablet PCs are not required to run Huddle; however, we feel
that coaches can most simply realize the maximum benefits from Huddle by using a
tablet. Included in the purchase price of Huddle is a server that integrates
with your current video setup. For most teams, Huddle will not require any
additional hardware cost.
How much time does it take for a player to get up-to-speed on Huddle?
Huddle was designed to be a highly-interactive, easy-to-use tool that resonates
with today’s generation of players and recruits. In our experience, players have
been able to step in and use Huddle immediately without any training or previous
knowledge. Also, to ensure that coaches and users achieve the greatest benefit
from Huddle, we will provide the initial training for the team.
Who controls the data I have in Huddle – where is it stored?
Video coordinators and team administrators choose what data you can see in
Huddle using an administrator interface. Huddle’s data is stored on a server
that interfaces directly with your current video implementation. Agile Sports
will provide this server as a part of your service contract.
